The spa's most characteristic building is the domed bath hall of the medical centre; with the adjoining healing garden, its quiet surroundings and calming atmosphere make it the Zalakaros oasis for healing.

Since 1978, the Zalakaros Spa has been a medicinal bath officially recognised by the Ministry of Health and a certified health resort. In this unique facility, the unparalleled medicinal water of Zalakaros truly contributes to our guests' recovery and helps preserve physical and mental health.

The indoor pool group under the domes consists of three independently operated pools with different water fillings and temperatures. Our outdoor healing-garden pool, surrounded by a well-kept rock garden and with a special atmosphere, is open all year round except in the cold winter months and was completely renovated by spring 2019 for guests seeking relaxation.

In the summer of 2019, the complete renovation of our domed hall, famous for its special shape, was completed. With modern, energy-efficient architectural solutions, splendid tiling and comfortable loungers, this historic pool hall has not only regained its former glory but has become the jewel of our medical unit.
