The hillside above Zalakaros is covered by forest, the town's green lung. At the edge of the forest, as a continuation of Park utca, stands one of the landmarks of Zalakaros, the Forester's Lookout Tower. It is on the town's border towards Zalamerenye and offers a wonderful panorama from above.

In good weather the Kis-Balaton and the Balaton Uplands are clearly visible. Pleasant walking paths run through the Park Wood, also suitable for longer hikes to the surrounding villages, and hikers can rest and refresh themselves at the Kilátó wine bar. This charming spot is one of the most popular sights, offering an experience for adults, families and older visitors alike.
